Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and empathetic licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our growing private practice. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering high-quality clinical care, maintaining ethical standards, and contributing to a positive and collaborative team culture. This role offers the opportunity to build a rewarding caseload with strong administrative support.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and/or couples therapy to clients part-time (opportunity for full-time)
- Maintain and manage a consistent 11-15 clients a week
- Available for in-person and telehealth sessions
- Conduct intake assessments and document client progress
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical notes
- Be organized and detail oriented in managing one own’s schedule and adhering to internal workflow
- Uphold confidentiality, ethical standards, and licensing board regulations/laws/requirements
- Participation in outreach programs
- Perform high client engagement and retention
- Registered with CAQH and paneled as an in-network provider for health insurances
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in the following related fields: Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or Counseling
- Active, unrestricted license in California (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Psychology)
- Preferred: trained or certified in EBP/specialized modalities (e.g., EMDR, CBT, DBT)
- Basic computer literacy (comfortable utilizing telehealth, EHR platforms)
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team.
- Professional, reliable, and responsive with written and verbal communication
